This is my last painting for this year. I decided to paint some portraits. For various reasons. One reason is a surprise painting I am working on. I can tell you about it half way January. An show you, Beause it has to be finished by then. I wanted to paint my dear wife also. So here she is. I tried to do it in the old masters way. A strong light on the head. And the rest of the painting in more or less in the shadow. It was fun paining her, yet difficult.
